Pahalgam terror attack: CCS reviews security situation

PM Narendra Modi cut short his Saudi Arabia trip, arriving in New Delhi on Wednesday morning following the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where at least 26 tourists were killed by unidentified gunmen.

Upon arrival, he immediately held a brief but crucial meeting at the airport with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, EAM S Jaishankar, and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri to assess the situation and strategize the immediate response. The focus of the meeting was likely on understanding the details of the attack, ensuring swift security measures, and planning the government's next steps.
